In Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs, tonalli is the warmth of the sun — the life force in every living thing. It is what I look for in every film.
The project
Estudio Tonalli is the creative project of Raul Castillo Cruces, a filmmaker with Mexican roots who works between cultures and languages. It is small on purpose: you speak with the person who makes your film.
